What we do, and what we don't.

ProEDM Parts connects rail operators, EPC contractors and maintenance providers across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC with OEM-certified locomotive and rolling-stock spare parts.

We don't hold inventory. We don't pretend to be an OEM. We don't drop ship grey-market product and call it a day. We work directly with manufacturers and their authorised distribution networks, and when a locomotive is held up and the OEM lead time won't cut it, we route to verified aftermarket dealers in the US that hold common components ex-stock and ship on priority air freight.

Every quote we send is a single consolidated response per line item — unit price, freight, customs, Incoterms, lead time, payment terms. No back-and-forth. No surprises when the part lands.

Routine shipments to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Bahrain. Coordination with Etihad Rail, Dubai Metro and Abu Dhabi transport operators as required.

Direct and indirect channels to OEM and aftermarket suppliers across multiple regions. Freight forwarding managed end-to-end, with consolidated customs and on-site delivery.

How an RFQ moves

Our sourcing model, in four steps.

The same workflow that handles a 200-line overhauls list also handles the 1-line emergency AOG.

  1. Receive your RFQ

    You send us a list of part numbers, quantities, target locomotive model and your required-on-site date. Excel, CSV, email body — whatever's easiest. Attach drawings if you have them.

  2. Match to the right channel

    We identify the OEM direct channel, an authorised distributor, or a verified aftermarket partner that holds the part ex-stock. We default to OEM for safety-critical and warranty-sensitive items, and we tell you when we deviate.

  3. Consolidated quote

    You receive a single response with one row per line item: unit price, freight cost, customs estimate, lead time, Incoterms (typically CIF Riyadh) and validity. Lead-time options are proposed where applicable.

  4. Order, track, deliver

    On your PO, we place orders, monitor production or stock, handle freight forwarding and customs clearance, and update you through to delivery at your site — with the full documentation package.

Quality & documentation

What ships with every part.

Procurement professionals don't get fired for parts that arrive — they get fired for parts that arrive without paperwork.

Certificates of conformity

Issued by the manufacturer or authorised distributor. Mapped to the part number and the production batch where the OEM provides that level of traceability.

Material test certificates

Provided for safety-critical items — cylinder heads, camshafts, housings, gear cases. Where the aftermarket equivalent is supplied, we flag the difference in documentation scope up front.

SASO & customs

Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Org paperwork handled where required. We coordinate with your nominated broker or our partner broker for customs clearance at Jeddah Islamic Port or Dammam.

Warranty & RMA

OEM-direct parts carry full manufacturer warranty. Aftermarket parts carry dealer warranty. We manage RMA processes on your behalf — you don't sit on hold with a US dealer.
